Pea gave my mother a HUGE scare the other morning. Usually pea is the first one up. Sometime between 5:00am and 6:30am she'll wake up and, since she can't see, will sit quietly until she hears someone else moving around. My mom usually will continue to pretend to sleep, hoping Pea will lay her head back down and drift off again.
Well, Pea wasn't awake at her normal time. My mom waited for her to take a breath. Nothing. She softly called her name. Nothing. She began to fret a bit, and began a bit of shaking. Still nothing. A little louder, she calls out, and a little harder she shakes. NOTHING!
Just as she was about to wake up my father, Pea takes in a huge breath. The little monster. She's out to gray us all!
